Well
this week has been a very interesting week.
Monday- well today was
a good day but sad it was my last preparation day in great falls we went to
Ross I bought 2 more ties then we went and played games for a bit then we went
to brother B shop for the rest of the day and made some cool things I love
going to the shop a preparation day. Then we had to say goodbye to some members
it was super sad I didn't want to see them go. But it was a fun day at the same
time.
Tuesday- well today I
got all of my bags finished packed up and we were able to visit a few people
and then we did some service it was fun to get to do service for the last time
in great falls it was a joyful 6 months there I love that place.
Wednesdsy- well it was
a long day we had transfers and we had to drive from great falls to billings
but the ride was fun I got to ride with a missionary that is really cool he is
from st George. Then I got to meet my new comp elder Escobar and he is super
cool we will have a lot of fun together.
Thursday- well today
was my first day in Hardin Montana it is a nice little town we were able to do
weekly planning haha I love weekly planning after that we went to a study class
where they are studying the gospel of Jesus Christ and It was super good. We
all should try and be a shepherd that leads and now's his sheep and not a sheep
herder, just as the savior is a shepered to us and we should follow him.
Friday-well today was
my second full day here in hardin montana it is pretty good here the work is
pretty slow but we are going to try are best to change that. today we went out
tothe crow agency which is the crow reservation and that is by where the battle
of the little big horn took place, it is crazy hard to find people out there
becuase the adress are so off so we had to ask a coulpe of dunk guys if they
knew where the people lived and they did haha. well then we headed out to lodge
grass and on the way ot there it is super pretty but lodge grass its self is
very scary. then we headed over to fort smith and it is a super cool town there
is alot of farmers and things it is really pretty i really like it. then when
we got back to hadin we were able to have a lesson with a member it was pretty
good. but over all it was a great day had alot of fun.
Saturday- well as you
know what the say Saturday is a special day that we get ready for Sunday. Well
today we had a party at the church and I was able to ball it up with some
native kids which was super fun and also got to meet a lot of members. Then we
went out with a member couple to visit some members on the crow reservation and
the was super good to get out and meet some people then they took us to dinner
and I got a crow Indian taco it is just like a Navajo taco and it was super
good but it was a super fun day.
Sunday- well today is
always the best day of the week because you get to take the sacrament and renew
Covents with the Lord. But it was super cool I got to see a member from Polson
his name is Jay blazzard he has a big ranch in Hardin so that was super cool to
get to talk to him. Well the branch is super small there is any about 25 active
members that come every week so that is kinda crazy but hope that we can change
that. Then they had a wars potluck after church and that was super good there
was so much food. Then the feuvrays took us out to crow again to see and meet
some more less active members so that was super good and that was are
day.
Well I really like it
here in Hardin so for so good I haven't been cased by any dogs haha well love
you all and have a good week. Here is my new adress
I’ve been in Vidor for
pretty much six months now.. isn’t that crazy?
This week We had a
baptism on Saturday, hope was baptized. Is was awesome. She is a pretty
brave girl, like her dad hates the church and she still was willing to get
baptized because she just felt like it was right. I know that takes so
much courage to leave what you know and try something new.. but it’s so worth
it. It’s amazing to see people like that. Pretty inspiring! Anyways her
mom is investigating now, so I hope she progresses and gets baptized as
well! She’s not in our area though.
Also, we taught this super dope lesson to this part member family we have
been trying to work with, and the spirit was so strong. The father got into
drugs and was away from the kids for like 4 years.. and the kids are so
happy to have him back. We started talking about the gospel, and the nine
year old kid named Braden says “and even when you get lost, the gospel will
help you find your way back.” how sweet is that? It brought tears to my

eyes. I will never
forget that..
It is my testimony
that no matter how far we get down the wrong path, no matter how lost we
seemingly are, “the gospel will help us find our way back.” I love that so
much. Some of my favorite pictures of the savior are the ones where he is
watching his sheep. I know we are all his sheep, and we all at one time or
another have been lost. I testify that Jesus Christ will leave the 99 to save
us. Usually, he uses other people to round us up, I have had it happen to me in
my life. I can’t tell you how many times people like Bishop Yardley reached out
and “saved” me right when I needed them. Likewise some of the choicest
experiences on my mission have been the times when there savior has sent me to
find one of his lost sheep.
I love this church,
and I know we can all find happiness in serving others. I am so grateful for or
a church that is organized so beautifully, so that we can serve others to our
full potential. Because many churches lack organization, they cannot reach out
and save others like we can. Its been so awesome to see how that all works,
especially during hurricane Harvey.
I know that because
Jesus Christ’s church has been restored, we all have a chance to lose ourselves
in the service of others and bringing them to the gospel, and find ourselves in
the process. That sure has happened to me.
I love you all. Have a
wonderful thanksgiving, and don’t forget to send a few prayers up for your
favorite missionary
Also, happy late
birthdays to my sisters Corryn and Chynna. Freak I am terrible at birthdays.
I’ll catch up with you guys, I promise!
