STEPS AND PROCEDURE: CENTER PLATE
·
When I received the workpiece(Center
Plate) I chose where I will start my phase 1. When I finally chose where I will
start my phase 1.
·
I set my workpiece(Center Plate) to
phase 1 and put it on the Bench Vise. When my workpiece(Center Plate) is
finally set to Bench Vise.
·
I get my Flat file to start working with
my workpiece(Center Plate). When I finally have my Flat file. This is the time to
do my work.
·
I started filing my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 1 to remove the unnecessary extra steel and to make it clean. When
I finally removed the unnecessary extra steel and when I’m sure that my
workpiece(Center Plate) phase 1 is cleaned.
·
I need to make sure that my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 1 is straight. I can make sure that my workpiece(Center Plate)
phase 1 is straight is by using a tri-square on it.
·
Since I don’t have my own tri-square. I
will go to the tool room and borrow some tri-square. When I finally got my
tri-square.
·
I will put my tri-square on my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 1 and check if my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 1 is straight.
·
To know it easily I removed my
workpiece(Center Plate) out of the Bench Vise and put it on the light together
with the tri-square. When I saw some light, I knew that my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 1 is not yet straight.
·
When I finally knew that my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 1 is not yet straight.
·
I will put my workpiece(Center Plate)
back to the Bench Vise again and I will continue to file it again until I make
it straight.
·
When I finally finished filing my
workpiece(Center Plate) phase 1. I will remove it out of the Bench Vise again.
·
I will put it into the light together
with the tri-square again to see if my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 1 is
finally straight. When I finally don’t see a light, that’s when I’m sure that
my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 1 is finally straight.
·
Now that I’m done working with my phase
1. I will clean first my Bench Vise and workarea so I can proceed working with
my phase 2. When my Bench Vise and workarea is finally cleaned.
·
I will set my workpiece(Center Plate) to
phase 2 and put it on the Bench Vise. When my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2
is finally set on the Bench Vise.
·
Just like my phase 1 I will file it
until the unnecessary extra steel be removed and my workpiece(Center Plate) is
cleaned. When I finally removed the unnecessary extra steel and when I’m sure
that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2 is cleaned.
·
I need to make sure that my
workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2 is straight and even on my phase 1. I can make
sure that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2 is straight and even on my phase 1
is by using a tri-square.
·
I will put my tri-square on my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 2 and check if my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2 is straight and
even on my phase 1.
·
Again to know it easily I removed my
workpiece(Center Plate) out of the Bench Vise and put it on the light together
with the tri-square. When I saw some light, I knew that my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 2 is not yet straight.
·
When I finally knew that my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 2 is not yet straight and even on my phase 1.
·
I will put my workpiece(Center Plate)
back to the Bench Vise again and I will continue to file it again until I make
it straight and even on my phase 1.
·
When I finally finished filing my
workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2. I will remove it out of the Bench Vise again.
·
I will put it into the light together
with the tri-square again to see if my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2 is
finally straight and even on my phase 1. When I finally don’t see a light,
that’s when I’m sure that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2 is finally
straight and even on my phase 1.
·
Now that I’m done working with my phase
2. I will clean again my Bench Vise and workarea so I can proceed working with
my phase 3. When my Bench Vise and workarea is finally cleaned.
·
I will set my workpiece(Center Plate) to
phase 3 and put it on the Bench Vise again. When my workpiece(Center Plate)
phase 3 is finally set on the Bench Vise.
·
I will file it until the unnecessary
extra steel be removed and my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 3 is cleaned. Since
its wider than phase 1 and 2, I need to do an extra work for me to finish it
quickly. When I finally removed the unnecessary extra steel and when I’m sure
that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 3 is cleaned.
·
Again I need to make sure that my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 3 is straight. I can make sure that my workpiece(Center Plate)
phase 3 is straight is by using a tri-square on it.
·
I will put my tri-square on my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 3 and check if my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 3 is straight.
·
Again to know it easily I will removed
my workpiece(Center Plate) out of the Bench Vise and put it on the light
together with the tri-square. When I saw some light, I knew that my workpiece(Center

·
When I finally knew that my workpiece(Center
Plate) phase 3 is not yet straight.
·
I will put my workpiece(Center Plate)
back to the Bench Vise again and I will continue to file it again until I make
it straight.
·
When I finally finished filing my
workpiece(Center Plate) phase 3. I will remove it out of the Bench Vise again.
·
I will put it into the light together
with the tri-square again to see if my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 3 is
finally straight. When I finally don’t see a light, that’s when I’m sure that
my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 2 is finally straight.
·
Now that I’m done working with my phase
3. I will clean first my Bench Vise and workarea so I can proceed working with
my phase 4. When my Bench Vise and workarea is finally cleaned.
·
I will set my workpiece(Center Plate) to
phase 4 and put it on the Bench Vise again. When my workpiece(Center Plate)
phase 4 is finally set on the Bench Vise.
·
I will file it until the unnecessary
extra steel be removed and my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 4 is cleaned. Just
like phase 3 its wider than phase 1 and 2 so I need to do an extra work again
for me to finish it quickly. When I finally removed the unnecessary extra steel
and when I’m sure that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 4 is cleaned.
·
I need to make sure that my
workpiece(Center Plate) phase 4 is straight and even on my phase 3. I can make
sure that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 4 is straight and even on my phase 3
is by using a tri-square.
·
I will put my tri-square on my workpiece(Center

·
I will put it into the light together
with the tri-square again to see if my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 4 is
finally straight and even on my phase 2. When I finally don’t see a light,
that’s when I’m sure that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 4 is finally
straight and even on my phase 3.
·
Now that I’m done working with my phase
4. I will clean again my Bench Vise and workarea so I can proceed working with
my phase 5. When my Bench Vise and workarea is finally cleaned.
·
I will set my workpiece(Center Plate) to
phase 5 and put it on the Bench Vise again. When my workpiece(Center Plate)
phase 5 is finally set on the Bench Vise.
·
I will file it too until the unnecessary
extra steel be removed and my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 5 is cleaned. Since
it’s the biggest part of the plate, I need to exert some strength to finish it
quickly. When I finally removed the unnecessary extra steel and when I’m sure
that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 5 is cleaned.

When I finally finished filing my
workpiece(Center Plate) phase 6. I will remove it out of the Bench Vise again.
·
I will put it into the light together
with the tri-square again to see if my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 6 is
finally straight and even on my phase 5. When I finally don’t see a light,
that’s when I’m sure that my workpiece(Center Plate) phase 6 is finally
straight.
·
When all of the phases of my workpiece(Center Plate) has been done.
·
I put a lay-out on it. When I finished
putting a layout on it.
·
I center punched all that needs to be
center punched. When I’m finished center punched all the lay out.
·
I go to the drill press and drill all my
center punched layout on my workpiece(Center Plate) on phase 5 or 6.

CONCLUSION:
I therefore conclude
that it’s not about how you quickly file your work or how hard you file your
work. You just need to be consistent on what you are doing and don’t mind all
the negativities on your surroundings. Work hard and work smart don’t let
others work bother yours. Just do what you need to do. Make your own way have
your own strategy. Do your work, put a perseverance on your work and you will
never be left behind. Don’t let others tell you that you can never finish your
work. Never give up the beginning is always the hardest. Trust in yourself,
have courage.
